I have a music myspace and i just wanna know what yall think about my songs ?
I liked your play on popular music, but if you're trying to break into the music business legitimately, and make it big, you need to do your own beats, make them tight, vary them a little bit so that people have a wide selection, and then focus on the rap. It seems you're trying too hard to make it seem like you're already big.
What I mean by this is that when you listen to popular music today (excluding crap like Soulja Boy), you sometimes have an entire minute of people just talking into the mic before the actual music begins. I'm not saying that this is necessarily bad, but you should aim to prove to those who are listening that you can rap good rap for a good two to three minutes, without a lot of crap in between.
Still, I like it. It's better than a lot of other stuff I've been hearing on Myspace lately.
