Try re-installing your sound card/audio driver. Or if you need the sound more than the update try the system restore which is a windows option which puts you back before the update installation. So you can customize your update from the microsoft website this time.

DON'T uninstall any updates!!!

Let's check the obvious, first: that everything's plugged in ok - check all your sound and socket leads.

If you have the volume icon in your system tray, double-click it and check the volume level (make sure it's not muted).

If your volume icon isn't in the system tray, go to Start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Sound and check the volume levels.

If all this doesn't solve the problem, contact MySpace and let them know: it could be something on their site that causing the sound problem. (I know they had a problem with uploading their blog entries the other night, and have only just got it back to normal.)
